Have you noticed that in recent years more and more companies have started to invest in animation services? It’s no secret why, as they’re including this type of content in their marketing strategies because nothing performs as well when it comes to conveying a brand’s message and connecting with customers.
There’s an issue, though: as more brands continue to turn to animation-centered content strategies, the level of competition ramps up! Making it harder to stand out and make an impression on your audience…
Unless you team up with a company that provides world-class video animation services, that is 😉.
So, with that in mind, I’ve put together a shortlist of 25 companies that have mastered the art of making brands come alive through video. Hopefully, by the time you are done reading, you’ll be able to start your next animated project with a handful of more-than-excellent options!

Let’s slow things down a bit and review some of the animated video styles I’ve mentioned throughout this blog post. After all, the idea is that you can grasp a full picture of which type of animation you would get from all the services on our list.
To complete that picture even more, here’s a video that goes over 14 animated explainer video types (you’re welcome!):
There’s a reason why so many top-notch companies offer 2D animation services. Great for narrative-driven pieces, this style is second to none when it comes to clearly explaining information to your audience while connecting with them emotionally.
Another big marketing advantage is its amazing adaptability from the visual and storytelling point of view. Visually, their videos can adjust to any brand’s color, logo, and overall style. When it comes to storytelling, 2D animation also lets you bring almost any crazy idea to life.
This well-known type of animation boasts realistic and often detailed visuals, making it a great choice for immersive or interactive videos.
This level of realism is achieved by modeling and rendering all the elements inside the video.
This production process is as hard as it sounds. It’s complex, time-consuming, and requires a team with a high level of skill, so you can expect a steeper price and usually a slower turnaround time from 3D video animation services.
If you are a fan of the 3D style but not so much of its price and slow process, then you may want to check out 2.5D animation.
A sweet middle point between 2D and 3D, this style provides the same storytelling advantages as 2D animation with more visual depth, imitating the often unapproachable 3D style.
The result? A visually striking piece that, while not as realistic as a 3D one, it’s definitely more cost-effective.
Similar to a classroom board, whiteboard videos showcase a blank background with illustrations that imitate a hand-drawn style. Just like a real-life whiteboard, they are also great for explaining purposes.
Beyond their apparent simplicity, they are a fantastic tool for transmitting information little by little, making it more digestible for viewers.
There’s also a child-like charm to whiteboard illustrations that makes them an almost universally loved animation style.
This one has a pretty self-explanatory name: think of it as graphic design made into a video.
It’s the ideal animation style to fit text into your videos and present data through charts in a fun and dynamic way. Not so ideal, though, when you are looking for a character-driven story or one that compels the audience emotionally.
Is your mind a bit clouded with so much information about animated video companies? Let’s clear the fog by answering some of the most frequent questions about the subject.
Be honest: Did you really get till this point in the article without knowing what animation services are? Then you are lucky I included this section!
Companies that offer these services provide a brand with short animation videos that can be used as marketing tools and for educational and training purposes. Adapting to websites, social media platforms, commercial channels, and more, animated videos are a great way to connect with your audience and put your brand out there.
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer to this question.
Animation costs depend highly on the length of the video, its style, and the level of customization the project entails. That said, you can generally find a price range of $6,000 to $15,000 USD for a fully tailor-made 60 to 90-second video.
Generic pieces and DIY content go well below that price range but often compromise the final quality of the video. Generally speaking, the lower the price gets, the lower your expectations should be.
Our team at Yum Yum Videos is trained in the best animation apps on the market.
